Family & Friends CPR

 

This course is for those family members, friends and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. The Family & Friends CPR program teaches how to perform CPR in adults, children, or infants and how to help and adult, child or infant who is choking.

Length of class – approx. 1.5 to 2.5 hours – based on what is reviewed

Heartsaver First Aid

 

This course is for those who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities on an industrial safety team, Boy or Girl Scout leader, church or civic group. The Heartsaver First Aid teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. An optional segment would be Environmental Emergencies.

Length of class – approx. 2.5 to 3.0 hours – based on how many segments are taught

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid

 

This course is for those who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency and are involved in child care. This would be geared for child care workers, foster care for younger children, youth organizations dealing with younger children is sports or other activities. The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid teaches how to manage illness and injuries in younger children. This course meets the regulatory requirements needed for certification in first aid for Child care.

Length of class – approx. 3.5 to 4.00 hours – based on how many segments are taught
